OBRA DE TEATRO EN INGLÉS

El pasado 9 de febrero los alumnos de 3º ESO y 1º y 2º de bachillerato asistieron a una obra de teatro en inglés en el teatro Lope de Vega de Ocaña. Uno de nuestro alumnos de bachillerato hace una crítica de la misma: 

"La obra en general ha resultado amena y agradable. A  los pocos minutos tenías ese sentimiento de querer que los personajes consiguieran los desafíos a los que se interponían. Con la participación del público, y la gran cantidad de humor que cuenta, uno sale con buen sabor de boca tras la obra. Si bien, en la parte final, cerca de la última media hora de acto, se vuelve un tanto repetitiva y ligeramente aburrida con algunos argumentos ajenos al principal que parecen más relleno que parte de la obra, pero que se entiende que están realizados para acercar al público y que éste se sienta representado (me refiero a la conversación de chat). En conclusión, la obra resulta divertida, fácil de entender (los actores se expresan muy bien) y la única pega que le pongo es la del final.

"The play was  close and pleasant in general , just after starting you had that kind of feeling of wanting the character to achieve all the challenges that they had to face. With the public's participation and lots of funny moments, you get out of the theater with a good taste in your mouth. But  it became  repetitive and a bit boring in the last half an hour with some arguments apart of the main one, that look like stuffing more than  part of the play, but it's understandable as they wanted  to get the audience involved(I'm talking about the chat conversation).In conclusion, the play was enjoyable, easy to understand (actors made the effort to be understoodpretty well) and the only bad thing about it is the one at the end."

RESEÑA DE LA REPRESENTACIÓN “LA CELESTINA”

“La Celestina” nos cuenta la historia de Calisto y Melibea, dos jóvenes enamorados, que durante la representación disfrutan de un amor prohibido. En esta se verán presentes una alcahueta que busca su beneficio, criados ambiciosos y unos padres que debieron ser más cuidadosos con su hija entre otros.

Escrita por Fernando de Rojas, la obra es representada en un sencillo teatro de Madrid, el teatro Karpas. A pesar de que el salón de butacas no supera el tamaño de un aula, cada espectador cuenta con el espacio suficiente para disfrutar de esta.

La mejor parte, de los pocos metros de la habitación, es que aun se puede sentir mejor y más de cerca cada palabra que sale de los personajes y las emociones que estos expresan. Así consiguen que nos creamos que somos parte de la conversación. Como toda tragicomedia, hay momentos de tristeza y otros que resulta inevitable soltar alguna carcajada.

Es realmente impresionante como con unas simples cortinas y algunos objetos más como atrezo te hacen sumergirte de lleno en lo que está sucediendo. Obviamente, el mérito es de los actores, quienes, al final, comparten unas palabras con el público.

Particularmente, ha sido una experiencia muy grata y la recomendaría a cualquier joven o adulto que quisiera pasar un rato entretenido.

REVIEW OF THE PERFORMANCE “THE CELESTINA”

“La Celestina” tells us the story of Calisto and Melibea, two young lovers who live a forbidden love. These are the characters among others: an old gossiper trying to find her gain, some ambitious servants and two parents who should have been more careful with their daughter.

Written by Fernando de Rojas, the play took place in a modest theatre of Madrid, the Karpas theatre. Despite the fact that the seating area is not bigger than a classroom, each spectator has enough space to enjoy it.

The best thing about these few meters of the room is that you can feel every word that is said by the characters and the feelings they express better and closer. In this way, they get that the spectators believe they are part of the conversation. As in all the tragicomedies, there are moments of sadness and others where laughing is inevitable.

It is really amazing how some curtains and some objects as stage props draws you into what is happening. Obviously, the merit is from the actors who, at the end, share some words with the public.

Personally, it has been a pleasant experience and I recommend it to any teenager or adult who want to have an enjoyable time.
