CONCIERTO DE NAVIDAD

Como en cursos anteriores los profesores del departamento de música organizaron el 21 de diciembre un concierto de Navidad con  alumnos de ESO y Bachillerato. En dos turnos de 1 hora cada uno interpretaron diversas piezas musicales, utilizando diferentes instrumentos y las voces de nuestros alumnos. Además  tuvimos un baile y hubo una actuación especial del coro de alumnos que tenemos en el centro y que se reúne todos los jueves en los recreos. Queremos dar las gracias al esfuerzo de todos los profesores de música implicados.

CHRISTMAS CONCERT

As in previous years the Music Department teachers organized  a Christmas concert with students of ESO and Bachillerato on 21 December. In two shifts of 1 hour each, they performed several musical pieces, using different instruments and  the voices of our students. In addition we had a dance performance and there was a special performance of the choir of students we have in our school . They meet every Thursday during the break. We would like to thank the effort of all the involved music teachers.

CONTRA LA VIOLENCIA DE GÉNERO

Llevamos  años conmemorando el día 24 de noviembre, día   contra la   violencia de género, en nuestro centro..Aquí tenemos un artículo donde se nos cuenta  una de las actividades realizadas. La profesora Meritxell Sanglas ha coordinado una preciosa actividad con sus alumnos de 2º A :

Para el día de la violencia de género, 24 de noviembre, en el IES Miguel Hernández hemos querido homenajear a las víctimas con un mural, indicando cuantas mujeres han fallecido a manos  de hombres cada año. Exactamente, desde 2003 hasta 2016 han muerto 850, y en lo que llevamos de año 45.

Cada número del mural está decorado por mandalas hechas por los alumnos de 2ºESO, con la técnica del zentangle.

También había un photocall situado a la entrada del edificio A, el que que ponía “hazte una foto y súbela a tu perfil”. Aquí todo el alumnado, como el mensaje indicaba, se hacía una foto y la subía a su red social.

Este problema afecta a nuestra sociedad desde hace años y todos nosotros tenemos que hacer que pare.

AGAINST GENDER VIOLENCE

We have  been celebrating   the day against gender violence on 24th of November.in our high school for a few years.

Here ,there is an article that tells us about oneof the  activities we did. Meritxell Sanglas, a teacher, has prepared a beautiful activity with her 2ºA art class:

On   the day against gender violence on 24th of November, Miguel Hernández secondary school  paid tribute to victims with a mural indicating how many women have been killed by their ex-partners. Exactly, from 2003 to 2016 850 women have died, and  45 within this year.

Each number in the mural is decorated with mandalas. These mandalas were made by 2º ESO pupils with zentangle technique.

Also, there was a photocall in the hall of building A, where we can read "take a photo and upload it in your profilel". Here, all pupils took a photo and they upload it in a social networking.

This problem has affected our society for many years and we have to stop it.

CIENCIAS APLICADAS A LA ACTIVIDAD PROFESIONAL

En este artículo, Daniel Megías, un alumno de 4º ESO A nos presenta una asignatura que está estudiando este año. Su profesora Ana Belén Franco nos ha proporcionado este artículo:

"Ciencias Aplicadas a la Actividad Profesional" es una asignatura tan práctica  como teórica ya que cada vez que hacemos una práctica, al terminarla, se empieza con el informe donde se anota el procedimiento y los resultados.

La última práctica consistía en fabricar un espectroscopio, con el que mirando hacia una zona iluminada podías observar los diferentes colores.

Al principio no sabía qué me iba a encontrar en esta asignatura, pero mis expectativas no decayeron cuando empezamos la primera práctica ya que te entretienes y aprendes.

Ahora nuestro proyecto es la elaboración de una colonia de diferentes esencias, sin duda, un buen regalo para Papa Noel.

SCIENCE APPLIED TO THE PROFESSIONAL ACTIVITY

In this article, Daniel Megías , a student in 4º ESO A introduces us a subject which he is studying this year. His teacher, Ana Belén Franco, has provided this article to us:

"Science Applied to the Professional Activity" is a subject as  practical as theoretical  because, every time we do a practice, when we finish it, we start writing” the report” where  we write  the way we did it and its results.

The last practice we did consisted of making   a spectroscope, with which we discovered that looking to an illuminated area, we could see different colours.

At first time I didn't know what I was going to find in this subject , but my expectations didn't decrease when we started the first practice ,seeing that it was entertaining and you learnt at the same time.

Now, our  next project is the elaboration of a fragrance with different essences, without any doubt, a very good Santa Claus' present!!
